Dr.
Gocke is one of the leading scientists that combining a career
in basic and clinical research. During his career, he has been
in the forefront of hepatitis diagnosis, HIV detection, infectious
disease testing, immunology, and internal medicine. He was the
first Dean of the Medical School of New Jersey, which is now
called University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ).
