Australia offers a highly attractive clinical research environment, combining well-trained physicians, world-class medical centers, and a deep pool of experienced investigators. The regulatory framework for initiating clinical trials is typically more streamlined than in Europe or the United States, often requiring approval solely from an ethics committee (IRB/HREC), which can significantly accelerate study start-up.

In addition, Australia provides access to a broad range of high-quality contract research organizations (CROs) across multiple therapeutic areas, alongside compelling financial advantages. These include faster study timelines, lower overall trial costs, and a highly competitive R&D tax incentive, which can return up to 42.5% of eligible annual R&D expenditure incurred in Australia.

For many companies, however, the principal challenge lies in effectively navigating and coordinating this ecosystem. Service Structure

Sage’s SINGLE POINT™ offering is tailored to the specific needs of each client and typically comprises:

Assessment Fee
A modest upfront fee to define requirements and identify the optimal clinical, manufacturing, and operational partners.
Monthly Management Fee
A modest ongoing fee to oversee and coordinate all aspects of the program.
Success Fee
A performance-based fee calculated as a percentage of the R&D tax credit received, representing the primary revenue component of the SINGLE POINT™ service.
