How We Work

A Structured, Data-Driven Deal Process

Every Sage engagement follows a disciplined execution framework designed to maximise valuation and minimise execution risk.

1. Diagnose — Fixed-fee Deal Readiness Review

Sage begins with a focused review of the company, asset, data package, market opportunity and transaction potential. The objective is to determine whether a credible licensing, partnering, M&A or strategic financing process is achievable.

2. Decide — Launch, prepare / soft-test or defer

The review leads to a clear board-level decision: proceed directly to market, address priority gaps first, discretely test selected counterparties, or wait for a stronger value inflection point.

3. Position — Define transaction thesis, rights and valuation logic

Sage refines the transaction story, including the value proposition, differentiation, target indication, geographic or rights strategy and realistic valuation framework.

4. Target — SAGEIQ partner discovery and prioritisation

Using SAGEIQ-enabled intelligence and senior transaction judgement, Sage identifies and prioritises the most relevant partners, acquirers, licensees and strategic investors.

5. Engage — Outreach, CDAs, meetings and diligence

Sage manages targeted outreach, follow-up, CDA coordination, data-room access, partner meetings and diligence interactions with priority counterparties.

6. Negotiate and Close — Terms, documentation and completion

Sage supports management and the board through term-sheet assessment, commercial negotiation, transaction structuring and completion alongside legal and other advisers.
