Satish Tyagi

Satish K. Tyagi, Senior Director, is the founding Managing Partner of Boston-based Delta Capital & Research (DC&R). DC&R provides seed capital, financial advisory and strategic consulting services for start-up and growth companies in the healthcare information and medical technology domains. Typical engagements include market research, product line analysis, IT/AI planning, private placement support, and CxO recuitment. DC&R also offers operations management services in conjunction with financing strategy, strategic partnering and M&A counsel. Mr. Tyagi takes an active role in DC&R's venture capital portfolio; recent successful exits include GetixHealth (medical billing), Performance Clinical Systems (healthplan IT), Lumedx (cardiology imaging) and Root Health (clinical trials AI).

DC&R is an LP with leading healthcare VC/PE groups and Mr. Tyagi has served on a number of public and private company Boards, including, currently, Cogitativo Inc. (AI data analytics for health insurers and government agencies). His career spans over three decades of investment banking, venture capital and entrepreneurship in health care. On Wall Street,  he pioneered investment coverage of healthcare information technology as a unique research sector, during his tenure with Jefferies & Co. and Cowen & Co. Later he was with the international VC group Schroder Ventures (SV Life Sciences II & III) as a Venture Partner for health care services and IT investments.

 

Prior to his financial career, he was a Senior Analyst with The Sage Group. He began his career in Sales & Marketing with India's IT pioneer, HCL. Mr. Tyagi received his B.A. in Economics from University of Delhi, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Marketing from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and an M.B.A. in Finance from Stern School, New York University.
